Story of motion

The story is about a feather flying down from the top of the building. However, to make contrast, the progress is slowed down from several seconds to a whole day. In that case, by following the movement of the feather, people can experience the change of the shadows, shapes, and colors of the facade of the building. Since people normally are ‘trapped’ in the building, this story demonstrates the neglected scenery of what should be discovered by experiencing the building freely. The idea of freedom of the space is the emphasis.

I use Madonna's space to demonstrate the femenism by using pink/purpole color and the rose-like shapes. However, in obama's offices, things turn more regular and order. the outer spherical surfaces are representing the idea that everything is in public's eyes. the massive structure can show the chaos in order or the other way around.

The quotes I choce were the one of Nobel's and the one of Jacques-Yves Cousteau's.

As the idea of Nobel is "to capture one good idea from thousands of ideas", I made the inside labs connected in a complax way and also set in different levels and plans.

The outside labs were made for Jacques-Yves Cousteau. By considering he is a oceanographer, I chose the ocean-like texture and an open space for him. Also, the idea of that sphere lab came from his quote that " key to the nature".

This picture shows me the space that made of glass, which gives people a view of infinity and invisibility. This narrative style can especially show the beauty of the construction and lighting. This just reminded me that space can be built more than space. With this idea i improved my model in UT to make each space and the connection between each space more like penetrated. another idea captured from this img is that to make the spece with different depth can make the space more attractive. I used this idea in my UT model to build the inside-lab in different level and depth, which is sort of cool, I think. However, the vision of infinity is a little bit less exciting, for the texture i used to build the lab has already set as bright glass.
